Distant Relatives Cast:

(Hopefully this will give you a little insight on things that the comic doesn't come right out and tell you.)

Chapter I: (and Prelude)

Wolfsong (aka Mew) The Changeling 138 years Redish brown hair Blue eyes 5' tall

Born Jerith in a distant land, Wolfsong was orphaned at an early age and raised as a foundling . When she was seventeen she discovered that she had the un-controlable powers of the elementals, a magic unheard of among humans. She was forced to flee her village, but with the aid of the elf Windwalker, she was fostered into the house of Kel-De'ib. There she was raised as the sibling and daughter of elves. After her foster parents were killed.she took sanction in the Kyriakon Doma, among it's Holy Order.

Windwalker The Air Elemental @2000 years Reddish black hair Gold eyes 5'10" tall

Windwalker is a Shade Elemental, one of four, he has control of the winds. He is the free spirit of his clan, the only one to travel all the world. It was in his travels that he found Wolfsong forlorn and abandoned in the dark wood. Realizing her energies were dangerous he gave her an ancient blade forged of elven magics. With this black sword she would be able to control her powers as long as she carried it. It was called Burden and was sheathed in invisibility. Few would know of it's full powers. Windwalker then delivered the girl to an elvin couple to raise, just as he had with an infant snow elf a few years before.

Stormbringer (aka Sdoirm) The Destroyer 125 years Silver-white hair Muddy green eyes 5' tall

Storm is Wolfsong's brother. While she knows some of her own past, he knows nothing of his own. He became known as the Destroyer when he took the black blade from Wolfsong and could not control it's powers. Between the time of his foster parents death and bringing his sister to Sanctuary he had destroyed several villages and towns searching for his parents' killer. He believes that he has to protect Wolfsong. He has become a thief in the city. What he doesn't know is his own destiny, and why he and Wolfsong have been brought together.

Foxnaku arn Gunem-Neru (aka Foxtail Strangehands) The Teek 210 years Red hair Green eyes 5'7" tall

Fox is a thief. He's not a very good one. He is also a Teek, an elf that can use telekinesis. It is a rare magic, but it comes in handy if you steal for a living. (Although his teek ability is limited to his visual range.) He met Storm while he was trying to rob him. Neither of them are sure why they are together, or why Storm hasn't killed Fox yet. Fox is irreverent and narcistic, while his partner is somber and caculating. But Fox is along for more than the ride.

	Melusine The Battle Nun 27 years old Black hair Hazel eyes 5'10" tall
Melusine has long been the guardian and confidant of Wolfsong while she was at the Sanctuary. She is a master of the sword, and has been trained in the divine powers. She also knows Fox from an earlier encounter when he was down on his "luck". The Sanctuary protects all who come into it's grace.

Sabre Kalavar The Councilman 36 years Black hair Blue eyes 6' tall

Sabre is the councilman from the Plantation Province, which borders the Shade lands at the equatorial regions of Queensland. He is from a titled gentry family, and inherited his position from his father. (Fox teeked his wallet, and Sabre had both Fox and Storm arrested.) While living in the City, Sabre became infatuated with a young male elf, which would appall and enrage his father on all counts, if it were known.

	The Hunter Age <?> Dark brown hair Brown eyes @ 6' tall
Little is known about the Hunter. He has an ageless ability among the humans, and this is only evidenced in the fact that he is the man who has searched for the Changeling for 100 years. He is the killer of Wolfsong's foster parents. He is the hunter of demons. And now he is following the "Purist" agenda, with no ties of loyalty or conviction.

Wildnight Blackfell The Professor 95 years Black hair Blue eyes 6' tall

Wildnight is a Professor of Archeology, tenured to a prestigious university in Crystal City. He lives in a large house provided to him on campus. He drives a "land-bound" truck he built from a kit. (It doesn't have hover capabilities.) He spends months on exclusive digs, primarily on the White Mountain. Wildnight is also the elder twin son of Brushfire Blackfell. He is known to be a beloved teacher to his classes of co-eds, as well as a scandalous womanizer to the faculty. He met Wolfsong when he rescued her from the Hunter.

	Skydark Blackfell The Lawyer 95 years Black hair Blue eyes 6' tall
Skydark is a Prominent Lawyer in a prestigious law firm in Crystal City. He is the opposite of his twin, having become "cold and calculating" over his years as an attorney. The first case he was given nearly 70 years ago, when he was fresh out of law school, was Fox. Ever since he has had an odd relationship with his "primary client", never being paid yet always defending the teek elf.

Chapter II::

Brushfire Blackfell The Shade Councilman @ 2000 years Black hair Blue eyes 6' tall

One of the most powerful elves on the planet, Brushfire Blackfell is the Shade Elemental of Fire, she is the Senior Councilman of the Royal House Council, and she is one of the only surviving Leaders of the last Great Elf War who will have any contact with the humans. (It was a war of man against elf @ 300 years ago.) She has no love lost for the human race, and she is a master of deceptive tolerance. No one is certain of her personal agenda. She is believed to be dangerous, both physically and politically. And no one challenges her.

Aeris Royal (aka Prince Aeris) The Artist 25 years Green hair Violet eyes 5'8" tall

Aeris is a sea elf. Sea elves do not come to the mainland of Queensland. They live on the island kingdom known as the Steep, halfway around the world. But Aeris came to go to Art School when he was 18. The Steep was just beginning to make contact with the outside world. Unknown to all but a few, Aeris Royal is actually the Steep's Heir Apparent, the only son of King Azrael and Queen Taka. While in college, Aeris met and fell in love with Kamree Blackfell. Brushfire Blackfell was not pleased. When Aeris dropped out of college, his father refused to support him financially any longer. This is where Madame Blackfell became involved; she offered to sponsor the young artist and set him up in Crystal City, with a studio and all he needed. He was given little reason to refuse, although Kamree was devastated, and declined to join him. They did not see each other again for five years.

Kamree Blackfell 25 years Black hair Blue eyes 5'7" tall

Kamree is the youngest son of the Blackfell Estate. Raised in isolated privilege, his older brother Wildnight was all that kept him from being harbored in solitude his entire life. Wildnight had insisted to his Mother that Kamree needed to be educated in public school. ("Just in case he ever meets a real person.") This, of course, lead to college and Kamree's affair with Aeris. Madame Blackfell was determined to separate the young lovers, although she would emphatically deny having any thing to do with the situation. When Kamree never heard from Aeris he was heartbroken. He took retreat among a brotherhood of monks for 5 years, determined to regain his self-esteem and passion. Then he came home.

Queen Birengard (aka Whisper) Age <?> Blond hair Grey eyes 5'8" tall

A Queen Birengard has been ruling the kingdom as long as most human memory can recall a monarch being in control. There is great magic about this woman, or at least around her name. She is the High Priestess of the Purist, although few know this, and those who speak it aloud are never seen again. She has been called the Queen Whisper in that she never raises her voice. All her commands and decrees are announced through her Chamberlain.

	Fitzwog Latisurnia The Chamberlain Age <?> Brown hair Brown eyes 5'4" tall
The Chamberlain is always at the Queen's side. His loyalty to his position, and his Queen are undeniable. Little else can be said of this man.
